1. About this Privacy Policy

Relationship Reset is published under the pen name Leo M. Varen. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information may be processed through the Site, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may process:

  • the email address you submit to request a free Resource;
  • whether you gave optional marketing consent and, when you do, the consent date and consent version;
  • the requested lead_magnet_id, which identifies the Resource you asked to receive;
  • approved acquisition attribution where it is present in the current URL: source, medium and campaign, together with the public landing-page path; and
  • ordinary technical and security information processed by hosting and infrastructure providers as necessary to operate, protect and troubleshoot the Site.

The Site does not ask for your name in the free-Resource form. Detailed Find Your Next Step selector answers are not sent to Brevo and are not stored together with your email address.

Device storage and attribution

The current Site does not use advertising cookies, Meta Pixel or third-party behavioural marketing trackers. Approved UTM values may be read from the current page URL when you submit a Resource request, but the Site does not persist that marketing attribution in localStorage or sessionStorage.

Find Your Next Step answers are held transiently in browser memory only as needed to complete the selector. Hosting or security infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to provide and protect the service.

Aggregate usage analytics

On the production domain, Cloudflare may process limited aggregate usage and interaction events to help us understand which public pages and content are useful. These events may include a public page path, a content identifier or type, a controlled call-to-action label, a feedback value, and approved source, medium or campaign values from the current page URL.

We do not include your email address, Find Your Next Step answers, relationship details, free-Resource delivery URLs or free-text responses in these analytics events. The Site does not use advertising pixels by default or build a relationship profile from your activity. Ordinary network and security metadata may still be processed by infrastructure providers when requests are made.

3. Why we use information and our legal bases

Resource delivery

We use the submitted email address and Resource identifier to send the specific free Resource you requested and maintain basic request and delivery history. The legal basis is processing necessary to provide the electronic service you requested or to take steps at your request.

Optional marketing

When you affirmatively opt in, we may send occasional practical emails from Leo M. Varen about communication, marriage uncertainty and useful next steps. The legal basis is your consent. Marketing consent is optional and is not required to receive a requested free Resource.

Security and abuse prevention

We may process limited technical information to protect the Site, prevent fraud or abuse, preserve service integrity and troubleshoot problems. The legal basis is our legitimate interests where applicable.

Legal compliance and claims

Where genuinely necessary, information may also be processed to comply with a legal obligation or for legitimate interests in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

4. Marketing consent and unsubscribe

The marketing checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Marketing begins only after affirmative consent. Every marketing email provides an unsubscribe mechanism, and you may withdraw consent at any time.

Brevo's unsubscribe or blacklist state controls future marketing-send eligibility. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent you from later requesting and receiving transactional free Resources. Resource-delivery emails are not newsletters.

5. Service providers and external destinations

  • OpenAI / ChatGPT Sites provides Site hosting, maintenance and related infrastructure for the published Site under the applicable ChatGPT Sites terms.
  • Brevo provides contact management, consent records, transactional email delivery and marketing email delivery where consent exists.
  • Cloudflare supports download and file infrastructure, security and related infrastructure functions.
  • Amazon and Payhip are external commercial services. If you follow a link to either service, that third party processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.

The Site itself does not process payment-card details.

6. Data controller and legal contact

The controller responsible for personal information processed through this Site is Paweł Balicki, publishing under the pen name Leo M. Varen.

7. International processing

Some service providers are international organisations. Information may therefore be processed internationally where permitted by applicable law and subject to safeguards applicable to the relevant provider arrangements. We do not claim that all information always remains in Poland or the European Union.

8. Retention

Resource request and contact records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to deliver Resources, maintain request history, operate the Site, maintain consent or suppression state, comply with law and handle legitimate claims. Inactive records should be periodically reviewed and deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, except where a minimal record is reasonably required to respect an unsubscribe or legal obligation.

Marketing information is retained while marketing consent remains active. After unsubscribe, only information reasonably necessary to honour the opt-out, demonstrate compliance or meet legal requirements is retained. Technical and security information is retained according to operational and security needs and the settings of the relevant infrastructure providers.

9. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

To make a privacy request, email hello@leomvaren.com. You may also complain to the competent supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO). Not every right applies in every circumstance.

10. Children

The Site is intended for adults dealing with relationship or marriage uncertainty. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Site, its providers or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its effective or last-updated date.
